AI Science Foundation
Lesson 1 of every module — the science behind modern AI: core concepts, models and principles.
Through hands-on AI projects — image recognisers, chatbots, AI agents — our programs take students from AI foundations to their own AI creations, guided by scientists who build AI for a living.
Every AI Science Program module pairs a live science lesson with a hands-on builder lab — plus a campus visit for student groups, led by AI Scientists.

Lesson 1 of every module — the science behind modern AI: core concepts, models and principles.

Lesson 2 of every module — turn theory into practice, creating a real, working AI project you can show off.

Student groups from Sydney and China visit our campus for a hands-on day building with AI.
To give Australian students the skills, confidence and mindset to thrive in a world transformed by AI — by teaching them to build with it, not just use it.
The AI Science Program — five progressive levels, from how AI perceives the world to your own AI research.
How AI sees, reads and hears
Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing and Speech Recognition — students build an Image Recogniser, Text Analysis Tool and Speech Recognition App.
Level 1 details →
How AI thinks, speaks and creates
Large Language Models, Text-to-Speech and Image Generation — students build an AI Chatbot, AI Voice Project and AI Image Creation.
Level 2 details →
How AI combines information, builds knowledge and takes action
Video Understanding, Multimodal AI, RAG Chatbot and AI Agents — students build a Multimodal AI App, AI Expert and AI Agent.
Level 3 details →
How AI models learn, improve and adapt
Neural Networks, training your own models, fine-tuning, model evaluation and reinforcement learning.
Level 4 details →
From learning AI to conducting your own AI research
Independent AI research, AI competitions, advanced capstone projects and university portfolio development.
Level 5 details →Prefer to try one topic first? Any single module from 1–10 is A$299.
InnoAI was founded by a team of AI scientists, engineers and educators whose experience spans AI research, industry, engineering leadership and university teaching. They saw a gap: students were being taught how to use AI tools, but were rarely taught the foundations of AI or how to build real AI projects themselves. So, we set out to change that by creating programs that bring genuine, hands-on AI education to students in Australia and beyond.
